"Then he is Dead"
Throughout Macbeth, we see what Macbeth has become and what he's done and we can see how he slowly loses himself even before he dies by the hands of Macduff. The cost of what he did to get where he is in the end was not worth it. He killed many people including King Duncan who he was suppose to be loyal to, Banquo who was his friend . He even killed Macduff's family. The stress and hysteria gained after killing these people was not worth it after he held that power for a short period of time. I can see why Macbeth would keep killing after rising to power so he could keep the power but the repercussions and the guilt from killing hurt him more than the reward of power gave him. With rising up to becoming a King, he lost his wife who killed herself because even she couldn't handle the weight of killing someone. But it was more than killing someone that slowly took Macbeth's mind, it was betraying and doing what was against his morals which changed him. We saw him as a righteous and innocent man but in the end he became twisted and corrupt. In the end he ruined others lives and his own and that's why I don't believe what he did was worth it in the end.
